The South Australian Tourism Commission, with Tourism Australia, is conducting a worldwide search for the perfect person to take on the role of a lifetime as a Wildlife Caretaker in South Australia.

As a Wildlife Caretaker you will have the opportunity to get up close and personal with some of Australia’s most loved animals. The successful candidate will have a deep kinship for our native wildlife, nurturing the unspoilt landscape and breathtaking ecosystem with their knowledge and passion and sharing our stories with the world through their social media skills.

As part of your duties, you will spend time with the animals in their natural surroundings and have the opportunity to stay amongst the rugged beauty of Kangaroo Island and embrace an area which is regarded as the best place in Australia to see animals in the wild. As its name suggests, Kangaroo Island is home to thousands of kangaroos.

However, you will also find many other native animals here including koalas, wallabies, possums, echidnas and the elusive platypus. The amazing wildlife continues underwater with unique marine life, fish and leafy sea dragons. At Seal Bay Conservation Park, you will have the chance to work alongside some of the tour guides and observe Australian sea-lions in their natural environment. There are few places in the world where you can observe such magnificent creatures in their natural habitat.

You will also explore a number of other spectacular regions of South Australia, including the Eyre Peninsula, known as Australia’s seafood frontier and an adventure playground where you can go swimming with dolphins, seals, tuna and even great white sharks!

Whether it be by four wheel drive, foot, kayak, bicycle or boat; your role will have you exploring our amazing environments and enjoying many unique and diverse experiences.

台灣美眉謝昕璇(25歲)參加澳洲旅遊局推出6項「世界最棒工作」的「野生動物看護員」，成功進入決賽，將於下月15日飛往澳洲面試，有望獲得半年300萬元台幣高薪工作，預訂於下月21日公布最終錄取名單。

《中央社》報導，澳洲旅遊局今天公布獲決賽資格的18名參賽者，謝昕璇得知幸運入選，心情相當興奮，她感謝支持她的朋友和高雄市長陳菊力挺，也感謝媒體報導。謝昕璇將與與同組來自美國、加拿大的參賽者競爭，搶半年約300萬台幣高薪工作。
